Curb Appeal
Begin with the outside of your home, or your curb appeal. Inspect the exterior of your home from a quick glance from the street. What jumps out at you? What would've-been-eye-catching features seem waiting to be noticed?
Knowing this helps us to decide what plan of action we can use to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home isn't pretty on the outside with refreshed paint and colorful greenery we'll need to tackle those as well. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer envision themselves watching a movie in your living area, reading a good book in your spa tub or hosting a dinner in your eat-in kitchen? We want your Open House to welcome buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you achieve this by recommending small improvements that highlight your house's features.
I'll suggest that you put in storage items that give the look of clutter. Table and counter tops should be neatly arranged. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "generalize" the house so buyers can picture it as their new place.
Every room gets a once-over. Areas that directly affect your bottom line include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs changing, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need washing
We'll ensure your house has mass appeal and that it's inviting, staying away from "offensive" or "can't-work-with" hues on the walls and furniture. And if the house is empty, you can consider temporary furnishings. The goal is for your home to look inviting as opposed to cold and empty.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when your home is ready to show your home, because everything comes together to paint a picture of what buyers can expect when they consider buying your house. To eliminate shadows important and we'll open curtains, and add lighting where needed to show off your house. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests experience your home and ensure a pleasant aroma flows room-to-room. We'll make use of cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your chairs and bed. We want buyers to feel like your house is their future home. |
